One of my favorite places at Morikami has to be the bonsai gardens. Another amazing reflection
#2Wakodahatchee Wetlands
Storks communicating to each other in a slash alpine tree.
#1 Green Cay Wetlands
Slash Alpine trees getting the last glimpse of the sun before sunset. A variety of birds perched on a dead tree in the middle of the wetlands. I can spot a few Ibises and an Anhinga. Anhingas are sometimes referred to as “Snake Birds”.Isn’t this absolutely beautiful! The divide of pink and blue. Another photographer enjoying the sunset! This was my greatest encounter of wildlife so far in Florida! A bobcat with two bobkittens. They even went under the boardwalk! I was around five feet from three bobcats – that’s INSANE!!Roseate Spoonbill (Platalea ajaja) perched on the dead tree! Did you know Spoonbills fly in long diagonal lines and stretch their necks and legs out completely during flight? The Roseate Spoonbill gets its coloring from the crustaceans they eat! Also, when spoonbills walk they gracefully swing their heads side to side in a sideways motion. Birds getting ready to sleep!Florida Alligator on the move. The largest Alligator ever measured in the state of Florida was 14ft and 3 inches!
I am a senior in high school who enjoys taking photos of my pets, the beach, and all of the best moments in my life.
